On Tuesday, spot Bitcoin ETFs posted losses for the fourth consecutive day, with a total of $338.38 million withdrawing from the industry. Blackrock's IBIT suffered the biggest drop, with a loss of $188.71 million. Fidelity's FBTC followed closely behind, with a loss of $83.16 million, and Ark Invest and 21shares' ARKB funds decreased by $75.02 million. As a ray of hope, Bitwise's BITB managed to gain $8.5 million.
The other nine funds remained stable, recording no gains or losses. The massive outflows reduced the net inflows collected since January 11 to $35.49 billion. According to Sosovalue.com , trading volume on Tuesday reached $2.16 billion, with 12 ETFs holding a total of $110 billion in Bitcoin reserves.
In contrast, Ethereum ETFs performed well, with $53.54 million in inflows. Blackrock's ETHA led the way, attracting $43.9 million, followed by Bitwise's ETHW, which received $6.19 million, and Fidelity's FETH, which received $3.45 million. The rest of the funds were unchanged. Sosovalue.com data shows that the cumulative net inflows have increased to $2.51 billion since July 23, and nine funds now hold $12.35 billion in Ethereum, equivalent to 2.97% of the cryptocurrency's market value.
The contrasting performance of Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs suggests a divergence in investor sentiment, reflecting the market's reassessment of its allocation strategy. While Bitcoin ETFs face continued outflows, Ethereum's steady inflows show confidence in ETH's growth potential. As 2025 approaches, these trends may reshape how institutional players balance their portfolios, marking evolving priorities in the broader cryptocurrency space.
